LOITERING AND CURFEW POLICY
The Redwood Area Community Center (RACC) is a multi-purpose, public facility designed and intended to be used and enjoyed by patrons of all ages. The safety and enjoyment of the community and patrons of the RACC is a primary concern of the RACC Staff. Loitering on and around the RACC, including the buildings and parking lots and common areas, is prohibited. Loitering is defined as lingering idly or aimlessly in any area of the RACC without purpose, or hanging around in clusters and causing unusually loud or disturbing noises. The RACC curfew for children younger than seventeen (17) is 9:00 p.m. unless present in the RACC at a structured event or in the presence of a parent/guardian. Anyone identified as loitering or staying beyond curfew may be asked by RACC Staff to leave the premises
Minimum Age
Any children under the age of 9 must be accompanied by an adult (ages 18 and over). This would allow the children under the age of 9 to have access to the Community Center (if paid a daily fee or has a valid membership). Children under the age of 12 do no have access to the fitness center.
Indoor Playground
Any children under the age of 7 must be accompanied by an adult (ages 18 and over). While the adult (ages 18 and over) is in the facility they are allowed to have a “babysitter” ages 12 and over watch their children in the playground. If the adult (ages 18 and over) leaves the facility the children under the age of 7 must leave the facility as well
