Part Time Maintenance Staff - Redwood Area Community Center
The City of Redwood Falls has an immediate opening for a part-time maintenance position working approximately less than 20 hours a week. This is a year round position for the Parks & Recreation Department working at the Redwood Area Community Center. This position provides for a variety of duties such as maintenance and basic repair duties for the community center building, grounds, and equipment; operation of mechanical building systems; custodial/cleaning duties; and preparation of various parts of the building for users.
The successful candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule, evenings and weekends. Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license, with a good driving record, be 18 years of age and have physical ability to lift 75 lbs. Candidates must have the ability to work independently and have good customer service skills.
Starting salary range is $10.50-$13.25/hour depending upon qualifications.
Recreation Programming Staff
Soccer Referees (season runs May-June)
Youth Baseball/Softball/T-ball Coaches (season runs late May- early August)
Program Assistant (season runs June - early August)
Gymnastics Instructors (season runs June - early August)
Pay scale ranges from $10.25 - $12.00 per hour depending on experience and position. Application Deadline: March 6th, 2020
Redwood Falls Aquatic Center
Pool Managers: Required Certifications: American Red Cross Lifeguarding, Water Safety Instructor, CPR & First Aid, prior pool experience, must be 18 by first day of season. Desired Qualifications: Certifican in American Red Cross Lifeguard, CPR and First Aid Instructor
Assistant Pool Managers: Required Certifications: American Red Cross Lifeguarding, Water Safety Instructor, CPR & First Aid, prior pool experience, must be 18 by first day of season.
Lifeguard: (12 weeks + inservice time, regular and part time positions available) Required: American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR and First Aid
Pool Customer Service and Concessions: (Approx. 12 weeks) Desired Qualifications: American Red Cross CPR and First Aid
Water Safety Instructor: (6 weeks of lessons + inservice time, swimming instructor) Required: American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor
Pay scale ranges from $10.25 - $12.50 per hour depending on experience and position.
Summer staff include Lifeguards (must be 15 to take the class) and Water Safety Instructors (must be 16 to take the class) at the Aquatic Center.
