This program provides an advanced gymnastics program for those boys and girls looking to take their gymnastics to the next level. Participants will practice Monday nights with Varsity level coaching and compete in two "mock" meets in Redwood against other participants in the program to gain experience in competitive gymnastics. Particpants must be able to do a backhand spring.

Get ready to “Rock the Fieldhouse!” Once again, this basketball program will be offered to boys and girls K-4th Grade. Sessions will be similar to a camp situation, where basic basketball skills and fundamentals are practiced the first couple of weeks with inter-squad games to follow.Students may ride Bus #1 from Reede Gray to the RACC. The St. Catherine’s Knights of Columbus, in conjunction withe the Redwood Falls City Recreation Department, is sponsoring a Free-Throw Contest for boys and girls ages 9-14 on Sunday, January 6th, 2019 in the RV Gymnasium. Registration is from 12-12:30pm, with the competition beginning at 12:45pm. Competition is free of charge to all participants. Enter by using Fieldhouse doors.
Registration is Jan. 6 at 12:00-12:30pm, event starts at 12:45pm. Cost is FREE.
Wrestlers learn basic wrestling techniques and skills, proper conditioning and will have the opportunity to compete against others of same size. Participants will have the opportunity to attend area tournaments. Singlets available for a deposit with RAWA. Wrestling shoes are recommended, but not required. Fee includes t-shirt & admission into home tournament.

RACC Fit Kids
It’s never too early to learn how to live a healthy lifestyle! Get out of the house this winter, put on your tennis shoes and join various fitness instructors for a great kid-friendly workout! We invite kids ages K-6th to participate in an 1 hour workout at the RACC. This will be a little or no equipment workout with options of advanced exercises and modified versions of exercise.
Every week will be a NEW workout! We will try a variety of types of workouts including HIIT (interval training), strength, pilates, yoga/stretching, aerobics, cardio boxing and more!
The best part about this program is KIDS AND PARENTS CAN COME TOGETHER! Parents are more than welcome to join in the workout as well- Make it a family routine! (K-2nd grade must workout with a parent).

5th & 6th Grade Softball Camp
This camp will give the 5th and 6th graders a chance to see what their next year of softball will be like. This program is 3 days a week for 2 weeks. Kids will join the Redwood Valley Softball team to do the warm-up and hitting, fielding and pitching drills. After camp, participants are invited to go to RV Softball’s first home game on April 8 together.

RAYBA: Redwood Area Youth Baseball Assoc.
RAYBA is a youth baseball organization that offers traveling baseball to youth ages 7 (coach pitch) through 13 years of age. Teams will travel for league (if one is available) as well as tournament play. Annual meeting and registration will be Sunday, Feb 22nd at 6:00 pm at the RACC. The Redwood Area Basketball Association provides a basketball program for boys and girls 4th-8th grade. December through March is considered “traveling season” for the Association. Participants will utilize skills developed in practice to compete in weekend tournaments held in our area.

RAJO: Redwood Area Junior Olympics
RAJO is a youth volleyball program for girls in grades 5-12 (4th graders are allowed to attend assessment and will be put on a roster if space is available). Our season runs from late February through mid-May. Teams typically practice twice a week and compete in 5 weekend tournaments.
RAWA: Redwood Area Wrestling Assoc.
Students 4 years old through 6th grade are invited to participate. Wrestlers will learn basic wrestling techniques and skills, proper conditioning, and will have the opportunity to compete against others of same size.
