Lessons are available for those ages 4-6th grade. Basic & advanced gymnastics skills will be taught using the floor, bars, vault, & beam. All lessons are held in the RACC Fieldhouse. This class is for boys & girls ages 4-6 that are first time participants or those with limited gymnastics experience. No (or minimal) skills required to be in this class.

This class is for boys & girls ages 6 & up with at least 1 yr gymnastics experience. Participants should have experience doing forward rolls, bridges, and handstands.
Level Three – Summer-Saulters

This class is designed for boys and girls ages 6 & up who have had 2 or more yrs of gymnastics experience. Participants should have experience doing cartwheels & backbends/bridges and are working on a round off and back walk-overs.
Redwood Area Gymnastics Academy
The Redwood Area Gymnastics Academy will be starting up this summer and fall to help those that want to further advance their gymnastics skills leading up to the traveling and high school seasons next winter. Kelsi Limoges along with other coaches are looking forward to working with girls that have prior gymnastic experience. (Gymnasts entering the intermediate classes must be able to do a full cartwheel and advance classes must be able to do a back-handspring) Students must be able to work independently after given instructions from the coaches. NEW! Elite Gymnastics
This program provides an advanced gymnastics program for those boys and girls looking to take their gymnastics to the next level. Participants will practice Monday nights with Varsity level coaching and compete in two “mock” meets in Redwood against other participants in the program to gain experience in competitive gymnastics. Particpants must be able to do a backhand spring.

Cardinal 5th & 6th Grade Tackle Football
This program will be offered to boys/girls in the 5th & 6th grade the Fall of 2018. Participants will practice 2-3 nights/week & will play games on Saturday’s in Sept & Oct as they will be in the Little 10 League. Fundamentals & developing an enjoyment of the game are the keys to a successful season. Interested in coaching? Talk to Coach Lundeen or Ross at the RACC. Practices will begin Thurs, Aug 16. Registrations accepted thru Aug 10th. Prior to starting the season we will host a kickoff meeting & uniform fitting. Date & time to be emailed to those registered.

Participant will learn the basic skills of flag football, including passing, catching, punting, blocking and the rules of flag football. First few practices will be spent learning the game with inter-squad games coming later in camp.

5th and 6th Grade Cross Country Running Camp
The purpose of this running club is to introduce kids to the sport of cross country before they can join the school team in 7th grade. This program is one day a week through the month of September. Kids will join the Redwood Valley Cross Country team to do the warm-up, run and fun team building games. Shirt included.

Wrestlers learn the basic wrestling techniques and skills, proper conditioning and will have the opportunity to compete against others of same size. Participants will have the opportunity to attend area tournaments. Singlets available for a deposit with RAWA. Wrestling shoes are recommended, but not required. Fee includes t-shirt and admission into home tournament.

RAYBA: Redwood Area Youth Baseball Assoc.
RAYBA is a youth baseball organization that offers traveling baseball to youth ages 7 (coach pitch) through 13 years of age. The Redwood Area Basketball Association provides a basketball program for boys and girls 4th-8th grade. December through March is considered “traveling season” for the Association. Participants will utilize skills developed in practice to compete in weekend tournaments held in our area.

RAJO: Redwood Area Junior Olympics
RAJO is a youth volleyball program for girls in grades 5-12 (4th graders are allowed to attend assessment and will be put on a roster if space is available). Our season runs from late February through mid-May. Teams typically practice twice a week and compete in 5 weekend tournaments.
RAWA: Redwood Area Wrestling Assoc.
Students 4 years old through 6th grade are invited to participate. Wrestlers will learn basic wrestling techniques and skills, proper conditioning, and will have the opportunity to compete against others of same size.
