Completely new to yoga? This 10 week course is for you! This class starts you with the basics in a friendly, non-intimidating way. You will learn yoga poses, breathing techniques, yoga fundamentals and get to know the different styles of yoga. Every body is unique and each person has specific goals and needs that they are hoping to reach during their yoga practice. Whether you are coming to improve your physical condition or simply to calm the busyness of the mind, this class is perfect for you. Yoga is done with bare feet on a mat. Please plan to wear fitted clothing that is comfortable and easy to move in (no jeans please). The first 2-3 classes will be lower intensity so plan accordingly and perhaps bring a long sleeve shirt.
Is yoga right for you? Yoga is accessible for everyone! No matter what you look like, how old you are, how you dress, how much you weigh, what you do for a living, where you live or what your belief systems is, yoga is in no way exclusive, and can be utilized to meet your own personal needs.
Why should I do yoga? There are so many benefits to yoga. It’s a practice that is both physical exercise, helping to improve toning, stamina, posture, strength, balance and flexibility, as well as a discipline that helps you de-stress, relax, feel healthier, and more energetic. The best way to know is to try.

Rise Asana Shine Yoga Class
Come center yourself for the day with a gentle yoga class. All abilities are welcome. Focus will be on awakening the body and balancing the mind through basic vinyasa style flow and meditation. Instructor: Colleen Peyerl

All Levels Yoga Class
Students of all levels are invited to join this class. This will be a highly instructional based class that will include variations to increase or modify the intensity of poses. New students will develop body awareness, posture alignment and core strength in basic poses. Experienced students are encouraged to explore advanced variations in familiar postures. Everyone works to his or her own ability and comfort level.

Yoga Level 2
This class will explore flowing movements and sequencing. Over the 6 week session we will work together to incorporate deeper hip opening, twists, and forward folds. This will be a vigorous and energizing practice forcusing on buildling strength, serenity, flexibility and balance. 3 months of yoga experience or a strong base fitness level.

Breathe & Balance Class
Explore health related benefits of various practices such as breathing and body awareness. Not a workout class, but you will move!
Packed with cardio & plyometric drills with intervals of strength, power, resistance, and core training, INSANITY will challenge you to meet your goals and get results. No equipment or weights are needed, and you don’t have to be in
extreme shape to do it. Certified INSANITY instructor Magan Simon from the Redwood Area Hospital has a passion for helping people realize their fitness potential, maximize their energy, and have fun doing it!
Core de Force Live!
Core de Force Live is much more than a typical cardio class. It’s an empowering, core-focused workout, inspired by the highest-octane sport in the world - mixed martial arts. This workout combines authentic Boxing, Kickboxing, & Muay Thai moves explosive power moves, and interval training that all engage your core, Don’t worry, this is a go at your own pace fight where you choose the intensity. Inspired by Pilates and yoga, PiYo cranks up the pace-and the fun- for a calorie crushing work out that defines your body. It’s a low impact yet high intensity cardio work out that increases your flexibility and strength. PiYo is designed for all fitness levels, from beginner to advanced. No weights. No jumps. The only equipment you need is you. Yoga mat and shoes are optional!
